TabTrade — What It Is
TabTrade.com went live in March 2026. Trading platform incorporated in Saint Lucia, under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, the FMA-regulated broker.
His background is relevant. It means the leadership is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. It is better than a random name you cannot trace.
TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same data centres banks and hedge funds use. Usually a new brokerage starts with a white-label MT4 setup. These guys went the other way. Unusual for a new broker.
Market coverage: forex, stock indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, shares, crypto, exchange-traded funds. Over 1,000 instruments. For a platform this new, that range is solid.
The Software
You get: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and a WebTrader. Two major platforms from one account. A lot of brokers only give you one or the other. Getting both matters. Use whichever you prefer.
MT5 is the default. Complete charts, Expert Advisors, massive community. If you know MetaTrader before, there are no surprises.
cTrader by Spotware is the alternative. Cleaner order book. Smoother chart interaction. Native automated trading. A lot of traders prefer it once they try it.
Direct FIX connectivity is available for automated strategies but needs the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView charting is apparently in the works. That will make the platform set once it is live.
Accounts and Pricing
Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. 1.0 pip spreads. Commission-free. Straightforward. No minimum deposit. Good for anyone who does not want to think about commission.
Edge. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 each way. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the raw spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. So your all-in cost can sit below 0.5 pips. That is cheap for a broker with $0 to start. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level require a minimum deposit. Tab Trade has no minimum.
VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX connectivity, faster fills, custom pricing. Not relevant to typical accounts. Skip it unless you run serious volume.
Infrastructure
The execution is where Tab Trade actually does something different. Equinix LD4/LD5. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. That is not marketing fluff. Most retail brokers run 100ms to 300ms.
Should you care? If you trade small timeframes, yes. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you swing trade, you probably will not feel it. But the fact that they invested in proper execution. That says something about priorities.
Pair those fill times with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and what you get holds up. Few brokers at this price point have infrastructure at this level.
The FSRA Question
This is the thing you need to be straight about. The broker is regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No CySEC. No investor compensation scheme. If that makes you uncomfortable, this broker is not for you. Lots of FCA-regulated options out there.
However. Benjamin Boulter built his career at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The execution setup is not cheap. Dodgy operations do not invest in tier-1 data centre access. That does not guarantee anything. But be part of how you think about it.
